Chambers Hotel Central Park South, Sonder By Marriott Bonvoy - New York

Location is very good! It is closed to MOMA, and very convenient to do shopping in midtown and on Madison ave. The staffs are nice and I liked the room with contemporary decor.

I was very satisfied with this hotel and I'll come back here. best? Location. It's a small boutique hotel with good service. The staff is very attentive and tries to please you as much as possible. room's pretty good. bed. pillows, sheets, mattress very good, shower in the bathroom is fantastic. They offer free bottled water in the room and in the evening you get a turn down bed. In the morning you have the newspaper ( NY Times ) for free. On the mezzanine level there is free coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon. We were very satisfied.

1) Towards the back of the hotel they are demolishing some old buildings and there is noise in the morning. It's not the hotel's fault but the noise is annoying in the morning. It's advisable to ask for rooms facing the front of the hotel.. 2) As I said on the mezzanine level there is free coffee from 6:30 AM. The bad thing is that the milk they offer is cold. It wouldn't cost anything to have it hot in a thermos flask.

Incredible views, truly enjoyed excellent and incredible setting.

Top-class and caring staff team from front door to lobby desk to the maids, the rooms were airy. I had a comfy bed, and a balcony and a couch bed.

Most amazing shower! Perfect location around the corner from business meeting. Luxury that isn't stuffy.

Chambers Hotel has a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Loved the design of the hotel, and the quotes painted on the hallway walls were a fun, unique touch. Definitely didn't feel like "any old" hotel like the cookie-cutter chains. Perfect if you're looking for a boutique hotel experience in Midtown -- and the price is the icing on the cake.

The bathroom was well-appointed with a rain showerhead and great water pressure, but be forewarned there is no semblance of privacy (one bathroom wall is translucent, there is no exhaust fan, and the bathroom door is mere steps from the bed/sitting area). If you're not on very intimate terms with your travel companion(s) or just shy, might want to stay elsewhere!

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Central Park and various museums, with subway access nearby. The room was spacious enough for four people, and I appreciated the cleanliness and availability of amenities like a mini fridge and water bottle fill station. The bathroom counter space was a bit limited, and the price felt high for the season. I would have liked a more robust dining option on-site.

The smartness of the hotel and great front desk/door staff

We loved all the indulgences we had like bottles of water and chocolates every night. The room space was good, and the shower was delicious.

The hotel room is perfectly located between 5th and 6th avenue. Rooms with street view on the upper floors offer a great view on Manhattan's skyline. Rooms are clean, bathroom spacy and design.

Rooms giving on the backside of the hotel (standard rooms) are all next to the ventilation system of the neighbour building, and thus noisy during night. Also we had a very bad experience with one hotel reception staff (we had rezerved a deluxe room but were given a stadard one at our arrival. It took us half a day to resolve the problem during which the reception staff behaved very unprofessionaly which was unexpected and disappointing for this kind of hotel).

Our room was spacious, and we loved the location-close to Central Park and the 5th Avenue shops. Don't miss the wine and snacks in the afternoon! Quick check-in and helpful service, and our room was quiet and clean.

Everything was wonderful, super location adjacent to good bars and restaurants, shops, restaurants, central park, and the posh 5th avenue, fairly quiet staff.

Room facilities can be improved. Desk space not appropriate for business traveler. Bathrooms are spacious, so could more storage space for guest items around sink area.
